As our nation faces political and social challenges, LUNA-Family Support Services reaffirms our commitment to protecting our youngest citizens and ensuring their access to early childhood programs that empower them to reach their full potential. We believe this is a vital contribution to America’s future.

Grounded in decades of brain and economic research, from Shonkoff and Phillips’ Neurons to Neighborhoods to the Nobel-recognized Heckman Equation, our work in early care and education delivers proven, high-impact returns on adult outcomes. This evidence has made early childhood investment a bipartisan priority, uniting leaders across the aisle in support of young children.

Our mission also reflects America’s irreversible demographic shift, as young children now represent our most diverse generation. Increasingly, kindergarten classrooms are composed of majority-minority students. This demographic shift will shape America’s future, and quality early childhood experiences will literally build the brain infrastructure for that future. This diversity is also reflected in the caregivers who attend to young children while their parents work to support key industries that drive our nation's economy. LUNA-FSS offers a range of services that elevates the quality of services and the sustainability of these educators-entrepreneurs who provide vital care to the most vulnerable children.
